The latest notice for the PMP exam in 2022 is that the April exam has been combined with the June exam for the first time in 2022. And the exam time will be determined and announced depending on the epidemic prevention and control situation.

The new syllabus will be used for the second examination in 2022. (If the examination can be held normally in June, the new syllabus will be used in September).

The PMP® exam will be reformed in 2022. The new syllabus still refers to the 6th edition of the textbook.

Requirements
Candidates must have more than 35 hours of PMBOK learning or training experience in project management and present a copy of the relevant certificate (provided by the training center of the former State Administration of Foreign Affairs or training institutions authorized by PMI).
Project management experience is required for different education levels.
a.Bachelor degree or above (with degree certificate)
Applicants have at least 4500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes and the cumulative number of project management months is at least 36 months before 6 years from the date of application.
- Bachelor’s degree or below (without a degree certificate)
Applicants without a bachelor’s degree or equivalent college degree or higher have at least 7,500 hours of project management experience in the five project management process. Within 8 years prior to the date of application, you have accumulated at least 60 months of project management months.

Important information interpretation
The PMI certification exams in April and June in 2022 will be combined in mainland China. And this exam will be the first exam in 2022, using the current version of the syllabus.

The content is distributed across the value delivery spectrum (including agile and blended approaches) in three exam areas.
Other adjustments to the new version of the exam are following.
There are 180 questions in the exam. (There were 200 questions in the previous exam.)
The duration of the exam will be 230 minutes. (Previously the exam lasted 240 minutes.)
The question types will include single and multiple choice questions, with the multiple choice questions indicating how many correct choices are required.
